Prior to starting Wic Candle Co. I had a passion for creating delectable desserts—picture cupcakes and chocolates—and setting up themed dessert tables for a variety of different special occasions.
My work was never just about mixing ingredients; for me, it was all about creating moments that brought joy to countless satisfied customers. This sweet adventure laid the foundation for my deep passion: crafting immersive and delightful experiences that make an impact.
But when the whole Covid-19 situation hit, it was like a game-changer. Suddenly, people couldn’t gather and celebrate like they used to. And you know what that meant for my dessert business? It hit a big pause button.
It was a bit of a tough spot, I won’t lie. With celebrations on hold, my business took a hit.
But you know what they say about challenges—they open the door to new opportunities. So, in the midst of all that, I had this lightbulb moment. What if I could bring a different kind of joy, a vibe of exploration right to people’s homes?
And that’s how Wic Candle Co. came to be. It was my way of adapting, finding a new rhythm when the usual celebrations hit a roadblock. So, in a weird way, out of a pause came this exciting new venture.
